Information about the Trip

• Our season for guiding starts in April and ends in November. All bookings are on a first come first serve basis. A $100 nonrefundable deposit is required to secure date.
• We provide basic beverages for our clients but for full day trips you may want to bring snacks or a bag lunch.
• Our drift boats have room for -TWO- anglers, if you have a third angler, we can help source an additional guide.
• We have fly rods for our customers to use, you may bring your own if you like.
• You are encouraged to wear waders in some cases we may get out and wade, even on float trips. Waders can be rented from a local retail store. Typically, $40 will cover each pair. Wet wading is an option depending on the weather.
• Fishing Licenses are required by the angler and can be found at the link below https://www.dec.ny.gov/permits/6091.html
• All of our guides are licensed and insured.
• We will reach out to you as your trip approaches to discuss meeting arrangements.
• Gratuities are not included. We rely on our gratuities, a lot like a server at a restaurant. 20% is standard and helps our guides with the shuttle, fishing gear for our clients to use, and wear and tear on our equipment. We don’t charge for lost flies and we tie most of the flies we use. A lot of time, research and development go into our patterns. Gratuities help us provide these patterns to all our customers.
• Launch access to the East Branch has increased in cost. Most launches have a fee that may be added to the price of your overall float. We will offer alternative options as well.
